Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Names Dr. Patrick Frias New CEO
Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta announced Patrick Frias, MD, has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer. He will lead Children’s implementation of “More Than Possible,” a bold strategy of many large-scale commitments Children’s will make to have a greater impact on improving child health in metro Atlanta and across the state.
Survey: 7 in 10 Atlanta Employers Face Shortage of Qualified Entry-Level Talent
Atlanta's economy continues to grow, but employers say finding enough qualified workers to keep pace is becoming a challenge. New research from Penn Foster finds that 71% of Atlanta employers are experiencing a shortage of qualified entry-level talent, while nearly two-thirds (64%) say labor shortages are constraining their ability to grow or take on new business.
Georgia Ports Generates $181B in Economic Impact Annually, Supports 605,000 Jobs
Georgia’s ports support 605,616 full- and part-time jobs at Peach State businesses, yielding $44 billion in annual income, according to the latest study from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.
