Holbrook Chairman and Visionary Al Holbrook recently announced the company’s $1 billion development plans to open and expand its footprint throughout the Southeast. Currently, Holbrook has two communities slated to open later this summer in Decatur and Acworth with another in Woodstock scheduled to open in 2020. Additional sites are being identified in Greenville, SC, Charleston, SC, and Nashville, TN. Each new Holbrook community has a development cost of approximately $80 to $130 million.

Known as innovative senior living communities, Holbrook targets adults who are looking for their next great adventure with each community offering life-affirming activities including a matchmaking service, travel excursions, “Food Network worthy” cuisine, and artificial intelligence (AI) concierge services. “This is not your typical retirement home,” said Holbrook. “Our future residents are usually in their mid-60s and they’re not ready to slow down. In fact, they want more. More amenities, more chances to use their brain, more chances to volunteer, and more chances to live their life to the fullest with other like-minded people.”

Each Holbrook Community has been created from the ground up using the latest scientific research, best practices in service and living, and advanced technology in residential design.  Monthly rental rates start at $3,300 per month depending upon the location, size, and custom features of the residence. Holbrook communities are integrated into their surrounding neighborhoods and all of the restaurants will be open to the general public as well as Holbrook residents. “People in their second half of life want to be and remain an active part of their community. We’re all about helping them celebrate their lives, full of purpose and connection,” explained Holbrook.
