Atlanta BeltLine Partnership Welcomes New Board Chair and Board Members

The Atlanta BeltLine Partnership welcomes Georgia Power Senior Vice President— Metro Atlanta & Corporate Services Bentina Terry as the new chairperson of its board of directors. She succeeds Dallas Clement, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Cox Enterprises, Inc.

 Also joining the Partnership Board of Directors are

  • Scott Burton, president from Whitaker-Taylor

  • Rev. Dr. Herman “Skip” Mason, senior pastor from West Mitchell Street CME Church

  • Lain Shakespeare, senior director from Corporate Citizenship from Mailchimp

 “We are thrilled to have such great talent to help the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership as we work with Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. and other partners to advance the project in support of an equitable economic recovery,” said Executive Director Rob Brawner. “We are grateful for Dallas Clement’s leadership and look forward to Bentina Terry guiding our future growth.”

 “It is an honor to be elected as the chair of the Board of Directors for a nonprofit that understands the challenges our neighbors face and is working to empower these families with affordable housing and sustainable economic development,” said Bentina Terry, newly-elected Chair of the Board of Directors for the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership and Senior Vice President of Metro Atlanta & Corporate Relations at Georgia Power. “The mission of ABP directly aligns with our mission at Georgia Power to support our communities where we live and work, and ultimately make them stronger and better places.”

 The Atlanta BeltLine Partnership is charged to fulfill, protect, and preserve the Atlanta BeltLine vision by raising funds and building partnerships that enable the Atlanta BeltLine project, engage the public, and empower residents in surrounding neighborhoods.
