Thursday, November 11th, 2021

The Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD), today announced that Ringover, a leader in cloud communications, will open its first U.S. office in Atlanta as the company continues to solidify its presence within the U.S. market. Earlier in 2021, Atlanta was officially designated a “La French Tech” hub, making it a part of a global network of French startups and increasing the region’s visibility as a hotbed for tech talent and investment.

“International investment continues to drive our economic rebound, and France has long been an important strategic market for investment in Georgia. It is a pleasure to welcome Ringover’s team to our state’s thriving tech ecosystem, and to the growing family of international companies that call Georgia home,” said GDEcD Commissioner Pat Wilson. “One of the State of Georgia’s greatest assets is our young, talented and diverse workforce. Ringover’s investment in Atlanta continues the trend of growing great jobs that keep our best and brightest here at home. Congratulations and welcome to Georgia.”

Headquartered in Paris, France, Ringover is a Software as a Service (SaaS) publisher and cloud communications provider to more than 10,000 companies worldwide. Ringover is built with a customizable interface and easy-to-use platform; its cloud communication solution combines telephoning, videoconferencing, texting, and collaborative messaging into one user-friendly management system. Equipped with enhanced data analytics and detailed call reporting capabilities, Ringover increases team productivity and gives leaders comprehensive insight into core business operations. The software also integrates with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs such as Salesforce, Hubspot, Pipedrive, and more.

“We are thrilled to be joining such a bustling and exciting technology hub in Atlanta. The past year has seen the exponential need for flexible and cost-effective communication solutions,” said Co-Founder and CEO of Ringover Renaud Charvet. “U.S. businesses in particular have unique pain points that mean they need the solutions to scale and grow. We’re confident that our move into the ‘La French Tech’ Hub will be a significant step in enabling businesses to transform their communications needed in today’s rapidly evolving world.”

With an already established presence in France, Spain, and the UK, Ringover’s new Atlanta headquarters will become a hub for the U.S. market. Located in Sandy Springs, Ringover plans to leverage its U.S. expansion to create more than 50 jobs in the region, which will support the local economy while attracting high-end talent from the area. The firm will be hiring for a range of roles across IT, customer service, sales, marketing, and more.

“Ringover’s decision to open a new office in our region following the official designation of Atlanta as a ‘La French Tech’ hub is a great example of the strong ties between France and our metropolitan region,” said Metro Atlanta Chamber President and CEO Katie Kirkpatrick. “I welcome Ringover to the region, where I’m certain the team will benefit from access to our diverse talent pool, high quality of life, and engaging business community.”

Georgia Department of Economic Development Project Manager Barton Lowrey represented the Global Commerce division on this project in partnership with the Metro Atlanta Chamber, the City of Sandy Springs, Fulton County, and Georgia Power.

“I am thrilled to welcome Ringover to Sandy Springs,” said Sandy Springs Mayor Rusty Paul. “Our city is home to many of the metro area’s leading technology companies, so Ringover is a perfect fit. Their expanded operations will have access to the area’s top technology talent as they continue to hire and grow.”
Atlanta is home to the Consulate General of France, which serves six southern U.S. states; and France has maintained a consular presence in Georgia since 1820. Additionally, the State of Georgia has had continuous representation in Europe since 1973. Since then, the Europe Office has assisted hundreds of European firms with expanding to Georgia. Now, Georgia is home to approximately 200 French facilities, employing Georgians across the state.
