The Delta Air Lines Foundation and The UPS Foundation each have committed their support of Wellspring Living’s transformational Welcome Home campaign with pledges of $1,000,000 to support the campaign. These grants will help with doubling the organization’s impact and creating a continuum of care for Wellspring Living’s youth, residential, and community-based programming on the organization's seven-acre South Campus.

Each night across Georgia, more than 100 women and children are sold for sex. Wellspring Living provides program participants with access to the therapeutic services, housing, and educational resources they need to dream again. The $20 million expansion will help create long-term solutions for trafficked youth, empowering women and youth survivors on a new campus that is one of a kind in the United States.

“Wellspring Living is grateful to have had the trailblazing, innovative, and compassionate support of The Delta Air Lines Foundation and The UPS Foundation. Their generosity has changed the lives of more than 2,000 women and children - positively affecting the future for generations to come,” shared Wellspring Living Executive Director Mary Frances Bowley. “We are thrilled to have The Delta Air Lines Foundation and The UPS Foundation invest in Wellspring Living.”

The Delta Air Lines Foundation's investment will be used to fund the construction of a new administrative office building which will be the new home for the Women's Academy program. The new facility will help triple the number of women served through a hybrid model of nighttime and virtual classes and expanded wraparound services including a food pantry and professional clothing boutique. By 2026, the Women’s Academy will train and support 200 women annually, offering case management, health services, education, life skills and mentorship, spiritual exploration, apprenticeships, career readiness and GED classes.

“Delta Air Lines is adamantly in the fight against human trafficking and Wellspring Living has allowed us to be actively involved in supporting survivors,” said Allison Ausband, EVP and Chief Customer Experience Officer at Delta and trustee of The Delta Air Lines Foundation. “One of our main goals is to genuinely connect with survivors to support them and this grant from The Delta Air Lines Foundation is a great example of that. It will fund a physical space for survivors that will drive stability and empower them to reclaim their lives.”

The UPS Foundation’s investment will support the Wellspring Living Institute, which seeks to scale the successful restorative model Wellspring Living has created in Atlanta to other cities and organizations who seek to make a difference in the lives of sex trafficking survivors. In three target cities, the Institute will offer training and mentorship programming to increase awareness, support and care for survivors of sexual exploitation. The investment will also be utilized to guide the development of new practices and policies, unlock access to resources, and foster unique public-private partnerships that support the development of long-lasting, culturally sensitive approaches for survivors.

“We see our investment in the Wellspring Living Institute as a crucial extension of UPS’s global efforts to fight the spread of human-trafficking both in our hometown of Atlanta and beyond in the key cities identified for the expansion,” said Nikki Clifton, President of Social Impact and The UPS Foundation. “We are proud to partner alongside The Delta Air Lines Foundation in support of Wellspring Living's Welcome Home campaign. As two Atlanta-based companies with expertise in transportation and logistics, this partnership is truly providing much needed support for vulnerable youth and survivors in our communities."
