Staff Report

Thursday, April 4th, 2024

SHRM-Atlanta’s annual SOAHR conference, presented by Kaiser Permanente, will be held for the first time downtown at the Atlanta Convention Center at AmericasMart. This two-day event, April 17-18, which is geared toward HR professionals and business leaders alike, offers dozens of education sessions and a resource partner showcase. There will also be multiple networking opportunities for attendees to build connections at the largest HR conference in Georgia.

Among the 700 business leaders, SOAHR participants will also hear from Mayor Andre Dickens, Dear World’s Khatdija Meghjani, communication strategist Skot Waldron, and trust expert Dr. Yoram Solomon during the conference. Additionally, technology and service innovation is continuing to rapidly transform all aspects of human resources. The event’s resource partners will provide thought leadership and share products and services on site.

“As so many organizations strive to build people-first cultures where workers can thrive, we’ve intentionally developed this event with practical and strategic takeaways as well as ample opportunities for professional connection,” said Jason Cline, CEO of SHRM-Atlanta.

Among those opportunities, SOAHR will offer attendees relevant information to help further their careers and company’s goals through 50+ education sessions with varied delivery formats. Participants also will have the opportunity to network while helping to pack 10,000 meal kits in partnership with Rise Against Hunger. The full agenda is available at https://soahr.net/schedule.

On the evening of April 17, in partnership with the Atlanta Business Chronicle, SHRM-Atlanta will be announcing the HR Excellence award recipients including Most People-Focused CEO of the Year. Tickets for the awards reception and dinner are available here
