BrightWhistle Adds Industry Veteran to Fuel Growth

BrightWhistle Inc., a first-in-class end-to-end marketing portfolio management solutions provider built exclusively for the healthcare industry, announced today that it has raised new funding from its existing investor group including Huntsville-based Eastside Partners, Atlanta-based Hamilton Ventures, Atlanta angel investor Paul Iaffaldano and other new prominent healthcare technology focused angel investors; this comes on the heels of tripling revenue from 2012 to 2013 and adding three of the top twelve health systems in the US as new clients. In addition, the Company announced that healthcare technology veteran Scott McFarland has joined as the Company's new COO. Greg Foster, BrightWhistle's co-founder and CEO will add the title of Chairman of the Company's board of directors. Chad Mallory, BrightWhistle's other co-founder and the Company's President, will add Chief Strategy Officer to his title.

Since its last funding announcement over a year ago, the Company has added a long list of features to its already unique SaaS platform designed for healthcare marketers focused on getting the most out of their search and social media marketing campaigns. With its status as a HIPAA compliant Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer, its Facebook Ads API badge, its exclusive focus on healthcare, and its newly granted Google AdWords certification, the Company will use this new funding to continue building its client roster, a list representing nearly fifty of the nation's top hospitals, while also expanding its offerings to ACOs, CROs and other healthcare entities.
