Smartphone owners and 300 million monthly users of photo-sharing app Instagram combined to bring Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton a new honor.

According to travel website Busbud, the speedway took Georgia’s top spot in a survey of the “most Instagrammed locations” in every state.

As reported by Business Insider, the website, which helps travelers book bus travel in more than 80 countries, compiled the list by comparing hashtags of popular locations on TripAdvisor and then ranking them by state.

“Without a doubt, Atlanta Motor Speedway is a premier Georgia destination for events and experiences of all kinds,” Ed Clark, speedway president, said in a statement. “We’re thrilled to add ‘photogenic’ to its list of accolades, and we pledge to provide our guests outstanding adventures to share when they visit our facility.”

The list highlights popular state-by-state locales ranging from national parks and landmarks to sports arenas and college campuses.

Among the most camera-friendly settings, motorsports facilities took top billing in three other states.

Speedway sister track Charlotte Motor Speedway topped the list for North Carolina, while Austin’s Circuit of the Americas and the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway emerged as the most Instagrammed spots in Texas and Indiana respectively.

Hosting year-round events including an annual NASCAR Weekend, the Georgia State Fair, numerous 5K races, driving schools and more, the speedway, located 25 miles south of Atlanta, provides ample opportunity to snap and share photos – with a fancy filter or not – of its nearly 900 acres.

The speedway itself shares photos on the site under the username AtlantaMotorSpeedway, and fans are encouraged to follow and interact with the speedway for photos and up-to-the-minute event information.
