Curry, Rice & Reeves to be Featured at First Annual Action Ministries We Are Life Changers Breakfast

Legends of the sporting world who have dedicated their careers to leading young people and helping them change the stories of their lives will headline the first annual Action Ministries We Are Life-Changers breakfast on Friday, October 16th.

Well-known coaches Bill Curry and Homer Rice will share insights into their lives and careers and be joined at the event by honorary event chair Dan Reeves, former head coach of the Atlanta Falcons.

The Action Ministries We Are Life Changers breakfast will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 8 to 10 a.m. at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church located at 3180 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA 30305.  Doors open at 7:30 a.m. 

Tickets are available at the early bird rate of $35 through October 8, 2015. Regular price tickets will be $50. Ticket pricing and event information is available at http://bit.ly/AMBreakfast. Space is limited. Each ticket purchase is tax-deductible as allowed by law. 

The We Are Life Changers breakfast event will also feature presentation of the Kauffman Service in Action Awards given to deserving individuals whose actions honor the legacy of service championed by the late John Kauffman of Kauffman Tire.

William “Bill” Curry has enjoyed a legendary career as a player and a coach at the collegiate and professional levels. Curry served as the head football coach at the Georgia Tech (1980–1986), the University of Alabama (1987–1989), and the University of Kentucky (1990–1996). Most recently he was the head coach at Georgia State University. 

Homer Rice experienced one of the most remarkable and rewarding careers in the history of American sports. He is a former American football player and coach who served as college athletics administrator at Georgia Tech. The author of several books, Rice will conduct a book signing at the event. 

Dan Reeves has participated in more Super Bowls as player and coach than anyone else. He played with the Dallas Cowboys and coached the Denver Broncos, the New York Giants and the Atlanta Falcons. In 1998, he led Atlanta to its greatest season in franchise history and was named NFL Coach of the Year.
