Lobbyist Jon Howell Announces Launch of New Firm, Impact Public Affairs

Jon S. Howell, who has been named by leading business and political publications as one of the top lobbyists in Georgia, is now announcing the creation of a new lobbying firm, Impact Public Affairs. The Atlanta-based firm will advocate for clients and help Georgia’s leaders learn more about issues being discussed at the State House.
 
For 15 years, Howell has been a recognized voice during discussions of important issues at the state and federal levels. At Impact Public Affairs he will be providing clients with guidance based on his expertise on appropriations, economic development, government regulations, health care and workforce issues.
 
“Helping people understand the issues that impact the citizens and businesses of Georgia has been important to me throughout my entire career,” said Jon S. Howell, founder and president of Impact Public Affairs. “I am excited by this opportunity to capitalize on Georgia’s pro-business climate and satisfy my entrepreneurial itch while helping others.”
 
A native of Georgia, Howell attended the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia where he received a degree in finance.  This fall, he enrolled in the Executive MBA program at UGA's Terry College of Business.
 
During his career Howell has been the recipient of several awards including being named to Georgia Trend magazine’s “40 Under 40” Georgia’s Best & Brightest list as well as the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s “Top 100 in Healthcare” list for eight years. In 2011, he was a member of Leadership Georgia and served as program chair in 2013.
