Atlanta's Hux Receives $1.25M in Seed Funding

Staff Report From Metro Atlanta CEO

Hux is an online marketplace where you can book a local house cleaner with more services on the horizon. Hux makes it easy to choose a service provider, get your total price upfront and instantly schedule and pay without ever picking up the phone.

Hux Vision and Expansion Plans

Hux aims to disrupt the $800B local service industry by creating a thin layer of technology that connects customers to local service providers.  Instead of working for a service company, Hux technology empowers local service providers to create and run their own micro-business.

With this seed funding, Hux will expand into cities like Charlotte, Austin and Miami. After establishing a sizeable geographic footprint, Hux will rapidly add new services for the home and beyond. In the future you can
expect to book someone to mount your new TV, paint your room, mow your lawn, walk your dog or tutor your child.

Hux seeks to empower local service providers to manage and grow their micro-business without working for a
company. Some house cleaners on Hux are already earning $30K-$40K per year. To aid in expansion, Hux will also hire developers and marketing/ operations professionals.
