Thursday, October 13th, 2016
Synovus customers affected by Hurricane Matthew who reside in counties subject to mandatory evacuation orders will receive a refund for fees charged by Synovus to customers for use of non-Synovus ATMs from October 5-16. Refunds will be processed by October 19 and will apply only to fees charged by Synovus.
“Hurricane Matthew has been a major disruption for everyone who lives in its path,” said Wayne Akins, Executive Vice President and Chief Retail Banking Officer of Synovus. “As the hard work of recovery begins along the coast, we want to be here for our customers, especially if they’ve had to take shelter away from home.”
