Purchasing Power, LLC, a specialty e-retailer offering American workers the opportunity to purchase consumer products and services through an industry-leading payroll deduction voluntary benefit, announced it has received two national awards, citing exceptional human resource practices as well as excellence in employee and worksite health. Purchasing Power has been recognized as a Best and Brightest Company to Work For in the Nation and as a 2016 National Best and Brightest in Wellness company by the National Association of Business Resources.

All winners of the 2016 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For were evaluated by an independent research firm based on their Human Resources practices. Among the areas assessed include compensation, benefits and employee solutions; employee enrichment, engagement and retention; employee education and development; recruitment, selection and orientation; employee achievement and recognition; communication and shared vision; diversity and inclusion; work-life balance; community initiatives; and strategic company performance.

Similarly, the National Best and Brightest in Wellness companies were examined statistically for quantitative data and benchmarked on wellness program effectiveness, including outcomes, analysis and tracking, participation and incentives, benefits and programs, leadership, employee input, culture and environment.

"As an employee benefit company, we recognize how important it is to create an optimal environment where employees can be inspired to contribute their best efforts to the success of the business," said Purchasing Power CEO Richard Carrano. "Listening directly to our employees, we strive to achieve an affirmative culture where everyone is valued, both as team members and as individuals. We couldn't be more pleased to be recognized nationally for our efforts with these two notable citations."

"It is an honor to be recognized nationally for the second year in a row," added Racquel Roberts, vice president of Human Resources for Purchasing Power. "Giving is a vital part of our people strategy and that shines through in our total rewards programs."
