The Georgia Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the U.S Chamber of Commerce, announced its endorsement of Karen Handel in Georgia’s 6th congressional district runoff.

“The challenges facing Georgia’s 6th district and our state as a whole, can only be solved by someone who understands and appreciates the needs of Georgia businesses. In this special election, that person is Karen Handel,” said Georgia Chamber President and CEO, Chris Clark. “Throughout the years I’ve known Karen, she has remained committed to fostering job creation, furthering economic opportunity, and improving the quality of life of all Georgians.”

Georgia Chamber Chairman, Bill Linginfelter, echoed Clark’s praise. “Our organization is excited to work with Karen in the coming years as our next Congressman. Since her time leading the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce and the Fulton County Commission, she has been a champion for businesses of all sizes. Her leadership will be key in ensuring Georgia remains the top state for business.”

“I am truly honored by the support from the U.S. and Georgia Chambers of Commerce. I have spent my career fighting to create a more prosperous Georgia, and I plan to take that fight to Congress if elected,” said Karen Handel. “I look forward to working with the Chamber to create and grow good paying jobs here in the 6th District.”
