Landis+Gyr announced that its Business Continuity Management system is now certified to the ISO 22301 standard in North America.

The certification is part of the company's broader, ISO-certified Integrated Management System covering all phases of product and service delivery.

"As the scope of grid modernization projects continues to expand, technology vendors must be able to demonstrate the resources, planning and strategy to overcome obstacles that can threaten ongoing customer support," said Aubrey Williams, Vice President of Product Delivery at Landis+Gyr. "As part of our overall ISO program, managing business continuity is a vital part of delivering future-ready products to our customers and being able to stand behind commitments."

The 22301 certification methodology involves developing, maintaining, exercising and continually improving business continuity plans across the organization. It requires a process for continual risk assessment and action plans to address threats as they arise.

As a leading global provider of hardware and software solutions for energy and resource management, Landis+Gyr's portfolio includes IoT intelligent devices, communications networks, analytics and data management solutions, energy storage, load management and a wide range of cloud and consulting services.
