Georgia Voter Coalition Hosts Atlanta Mayoral Forum October 11th

The Georgia Voter Coalition will host a Mayoral Candidate Forum for the top candidates in the Atlanta mayoral race on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at the Georgia Tech Ferst Center for the Arts.

The Coalition comprises AARP Georgia, American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Committee for a Better Atlanta, The Cornelius Group, The Emerging 100 of Atlanta, and the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with our broadcast partners WXIA Television and Radio One. The Coalition includes a diverse representation of the Atlanta population with common interests in the future of the City of Atlanta.

The member organizations of the Georgia Voter Coalition and the Coalition itself are each nonpartisan organizations that do not endorse political candidates. The participating candidates will be selected from the mayoral candidate poll being conducted by WXIA the week of Oct. 4, 2017.

WHEN:           Wednesday, Oct.11, 2017

               Doors open at 5:45 p.m. and Forum begins at 6:45 p.m.

Forum will be broadcast live on 11 Alive News WATL and Majic 107.5
