Two Atlanta Nonprofits Receive Lighting the Way Awards from SunTrust Foundation

The SunTrust Foundation recently awarded its Lighting the Way Award to PowerMyLearning, which partners with schools in under-resourced communities to help them personalize learning for students, and Future Foundation, which provides quality education, health and life skills programs for youth in metro Atlanta. The award is given each year to organizations that make a positive impact building financial confidence in their communities. Each organization received a $50,000 grant from the SunTrust Foundation, which is providing $800,000 in total Lighting the Way grants this year to groups that are focused on financial well-being.
