Don’t be surprised if you hear the familiar film-producer’s phase, “lights-camera-action” around town. Gwinnett’s largest city is now home to a new film studio.

CineStage Atlanta, located off Jimmy Carter Boulevard just east of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, recently opened its doors. A full-service production studio, owned by Laura Huber, Matt Green, Roman Weaver and Matthew McGahren, the film studio was designed with independent filmmakers in mind.

The venue offers a 7,000 square-foot sound studio, a 58’ x 15’ green screen, sound paneling, scene shop with construction equipment for building sets on site, an editing bay with large screen projection screens for client viewing and production office space.

The studio’s makeup and wardrobe rooms are located in the studio for accessibility and lockers are available for cast and crew to store personal belongings. The facility also has a drive-in door for easy access in unloading equipment.

“We are very excited to open our doors to all productions, big and small, in such a welcoming community,” said owner Roman Weaver.

The new film studio, available for all types of projects, may be rented for the day or by the hour and has already been used in producing several productions. The Peachtree Corners studio has been the production site for a number of clients including 12Stone Church, Afterlight Pictures and Bed Head Media. Past projects include Star Trek First Frontier, Brockmire, Stranger than the 80s and Star Wars: Sakoru.

“The film production business is a growing industry,” said Mayor Mike Mason. “We are pleased that CineStage’ owners have chosen Peachtree Corners to establish their new film studio and welcome them to our business community.”
