New South Construction Welcomes Vice President of Business Development

New South Construction Company, an Atlanta-based general contracting firm, announced the addition of Brian Spickard as vice president of business development.

As vice president of business development, Spickard will help grow and develop New South’s marketing approach and project pursuits. Focusing on New South’s defined core markets, including office, industrial and hospitality, he will help elevate the firm’s profile and secure new endeavors.  
 
“This is an exciting time to join New South, particularly in a regional business development leadership role,” said Spickard. “I’m looking forward to working with the firm’s principals to expand New South’s portfolio of projects.”
 
Prior to joining New South, Spickard was employed by Georgia Power and Southern Company for 33 years working with senior executives on real estate and construction matters. Most recently, he was responsible for business development in the Atlanta office of a national commercial contractor.
 
Spickard earned his bachelor’s degree in real estate and urban development from the University of Tennessee and completed a professional development program at Harvard Business School.
