BBVA Compass Bolsters its Atlanta Corporate Banking Office with New President and Relationship Managers

BBVA Compass announced that Zennie Lynch, Jr. has been named City President of its Corporate Banking office in Atlanta. The bank also said that Lynch is being joined by new Relationship Managers Adam Kessler, Ben Gibson and Benjamin James.

Led by Lynch, the team will develop the bank's largest relationships in the Atlanta metro and greater Georgia areas in effort to deliver the global resources of BBVA Compass to local commercial clients.

"The team that Zennie is putting together is unrivaled when it comes to commercial banking experience and Georgia knowledge. Zennie Lynch, Jr., Atlanta City President

Lynch has spent 21 years in financial services. Prior to joining BBVA Compass, Lynch managed a team of corporate bankers focused on servicing the middle-market. An active member of the Atlanta community, Lynch serves as a board member for Brookhaven Innovation Academy, and previously served on the board of the National Black MBA Association and on the committees for Junior Achievement of Georgia, Center for Puppetry Arts and the Association for Corporate Growth.

Lynch received his bachelor's in accounting from Northern Illinois University and his master's from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Adam Kessler, Corporate Relationship Manager

Kessler boasts more than 11 years of banking experience across multiple industries, including manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, real estate, asset-based lending, energy and more. He is a member of the Southeast Council for MedShare, a humanitarian aid organization that sources and delivers surplus medical supplies and equipment to communities in need worldwide. He is also a member of World Trade Center of Atlanta and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.

Kessler is a graduate of the Culverhouse College of Commerce at the University of Alabama.

Ben Gibson, Corporate Relationship Manager

Gibson began his career in banking more than 17 years ago, and has since worked in a variety of capacities in the field, including credit, underwriting, asset-based lending, loan remediation and financial analysis. Gibson is on the executive committee of the German American Cultural Foundation, and a certified facilitator for The Chalmers Center. He is also a member of World Trade Center of Atlanta and the Center for Civic Innovation.

Gibson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgia State University.

Benjamin James, Corporate Relationship Manager

James started his banking career in New York City more than 15 years ago. He has held various roles in commercial, corporate and private banking, and served clients across many industries, including nonprofit and entertainment. James is a board member of Wilderness Works and a certified USA Hockey Coach.

James graduated from Morehouse College with his bachelor's in business administration.
