The Atlanta REALTORS Association premier fundraising event of the year, the “REALTORS Raise the Roof” Spring FUNdraiser, was held April 26, at the 5 Seasons Brewing Company in Sandy Springs. ARA Members, Community Partners, and special guests rallied together raise money to aid in the Association's fundraising efforts to build its 17th Habitat for Humanity home.

The purpose of the partnership with Habitat is to promote the value of homeownership and the financial stability that comes from owning a home. The annual FUNdraiser allows ARA members to raise money for a community service project that directly relates to our industry. All proceeds from the event will benefit Atlanta Habitat for Humanity and the ARA Educational Foundation. The event featured fine cuisine, a live band, silent auction, raffle prizes and a cash drawing for five $2,000 prizes.

The ARA Fundraising Chair Leia Pinsky notes that “We have a long history of partnering with The Atlanta Habitat for Humanity to build quality homes in the Atlanta area for people in need. Our members appreciate the opportunity to come together in support of such a great cause, and we are now looking forward to getting started on our fall home build!”
