Delta Community Credit Union, Georgia's largest credit union with $5.8 billion in assets, announces a call for applications for 2019 Delta Community Philanthropic Fund grants.
Throughout 2019, the program will distribute a total of $100,000 to non-profit organizations committed to financial literacy, educational programs focused on science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEM/STEAM), and youth development.
"Since its inception in 2013, our Philanthropic Fund has invested $430,000 in more than 100 worthwhile organizations which have improved thousands of lives by offering educational opportunities, job and career training, and valuable services to families in need," said Delta Community CEO Hank Halter. "We're grateful for the opportunity to support causes which are important to Delta Community members and our employees."
In addition to its Philanthropic Fund, Delta Community invests in local communities through school sponsorships, a scholarship program, and support of chambers of commerce, industry partners and civic organizations.
