Chamberlain Hrdlicka Announces Addition of Attorney Michael Coverstone

Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Aughtry is pleased to announce the addition of attorney Michael B. Coverstone as an Atlanta-based associate in the firm’s tax controversy practice.
 
Coverstone brings more than four years of experience in IRS practice and procedure, including advising clients on the application of the Internal Revenue Code, Treasury Regulations, Revenue Rulings, and other administrative guidance.  His practice focuses on representing business and individual taxpayers in tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and various state tax agencies.
 
Coverstone earned his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin and his law degree from Georgia State University’s College of Law with cum laude honors. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association.  He serves on the advisory board of Georgia State University’s Philip C. Cook Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, a pro bono clinic representing low-income taxpayers throughout the State of Georgia.
