7 Attorneys Join Swift Currie in August and September

Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, LLP is pleased to announce the addition of seven new attorneys to its Atlanta and Birmingham offices, including Jessica B. Seiden as a senior attorney and Quinton R. Beasley, Sky Choe, Murray S. Flint, Leah F. Parker, Jenna B. Rubin and Frederic M. Rushing as associates. Flint joins the firm’s Birmingham office, with the rest joining the firm in Atlanta. With these additions, the firm has now added 34 attorneys in 2018, making it the largest firm in Georgia focused exclusively on litigation with more than 140 attorneys.

Seiden joins the firm as a senior attorney on the coverage and commercial litigation team, focusing on arson and fraud, insurance coverage and property insurance. Previously with Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. in Miami, she practiced in the areas of first-party insurance defense litigation and appeals. Seiden earned her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and her law degree from University of Miami School of Law.
Beasley joins the firm from Rutherford & Christie, LLP in Atlanta, and practices in the area of workers’ compensation. Beasley earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his law degree from the Georgia State University College of Law.
Choe joins the firm’s workers’ compensation team from Socheat Chea, P.C. in Duluth. Choe earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and her law degree from Emory University School of Law.
Flint previously practiced with Smith, Spires, Peddy, Hamilton & Coleman P.C. in Birmingham. He practices in the areas of commercial litigation and insurance coverage. Flint earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law.
Parker joins the firm from Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP in Atlanta. As an attorney on the firm’s litigation team, she practices in the areas of premises liability, automobile litigation and trucking litigation. Parker earned her undergraduate degree from Furman University and her law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
Rubin joins the firm’s litigation team, handling insurance coverage and trucking litigation. She was previously with the Staff Attorney’s Office at the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta, where she reviewed appeals for the purpose of determining appellate jurisdiction. She brings experience handling matters related to employment discrimination, criminal law, pro se appeals, immigration and social security. Rubin earned her undergraduate degree from Brandeis University and her law degree from Georgia State University College of Law.
Rushing joins the firm’s litigation team from Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP in Atlanta. He practices in the areas of catastrophic injury and wrongful death, premises liability and trucking litigation. Rushing earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his law degree from Mercer University School of Law.
