Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, LLP is pleased to announce the arrival of Lauren Paine Kamensky to the firm’s Atlanta office, which marks Swift Currie’s 45th hire of the year following the firm’s recent addition of nine new attorneys in November. These new additions add to Swift Currie’s growing roster of litigators and brings the firm’s total headcount to 150 attorneys, making it the largest firm in Georgia focused exclusively on litigation.
“We are very pleased to have welcomed so many excellent colleagues during the past year who, like Lauren, share our resolve to consistently provide exceptional legal counsel to our clients,” said Terry O. Brantley, the firm’s managing partner. “While 2018 has been a great year of growth for us, we look forward to continuing to expand our services in both our Atlanta and Birmingham offices in 2019 to keep up with our clients’ growing needs for effective counsel in any type of legal dispute.”
Kamensky joins the firm’s litigation team, focusing her practice specifically on automobile litigation, construction litigation, premises liability and wrongful death. Before joining the firm, Kamensky represented commercial and residential construction companies and financial institutions in connection with general commercial litigation matters. She is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia.
Kamensky earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and received her law degree from Emory University School of Law. She joined the firm on December 10.
