Saige Chefs, a prepped meal delivery company located in Atlanta, will support the Alzheimer’s Association care, support and research programs by participating in a fundraiser for The Longest Day. Saige Chefs will be donating a portion of the price of every meal sold from February 11 through June 21, 2019.

“Saige Chefs is honored to support the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to raise awareness and funds in the fight against this disease”, added According to Saige Chef’s President & CEO Jerry Heilpern, “We hope that greater Atlanta will join us in supporting the many who have been touched by Alzheimer’s.  We may be a small company, but with the help of our customers, we can make a big difference in the lives of families in our community. ”

The Longest Day is held on the day with the most light – the summer solstice. Thousands of participants across the world will come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s through an activity of their choice. Saige will give twenty-five cents from every Saige Classic meal delivered to people’s homes from February 11 through August 31. They will be one of the many companies across the country to shine a light on the 5.7 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease and the more than 16 million family members and friends providing care and support.

“We are honored to have Saige Chefs by our side in our fight against Alzheimer’s disease”, added Linda Davidson, Executive Director, Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter. “Not only are they helping us raise important funds and awareness but doing it will bring amazing, delicious, clean and freshly prepared food right to your door”, added Davidson.
