Russell hired students from Clark Atlanta University and Morehouse College and contracted with 23 local restaurants. This downtown Atlanta food delivery service was a hit, but Russell got busy with life. Soon thereafter, she received an accounting and bookkeeping certification and went to work as a senior accountant. She expanded her business and skillset by doing consulting work for small businesses for 15 years.

Still feeling there was more for her to do with her entrepreneurial spirit, she prayed and was led to launch ALR. Going seven years strong, Russell focuses on growing her business and creating new jobs in the Atlanta area.
