Jekyll Brewing, the first brewery located in Alpharetta, is expanding to Alpharetta City Center this summer taking the upper floor of the Exchange Building in a space that includes a 2500-square-foot rooftop deck overlooking Market Street Park.

The two-level, 6500-square-foot-space, allows Jekyll to not only brew on site, but also offer a tasting room and a full-service restaurant. Located at the Corner of Academy St. and Market St., the third-story rooftop deck features 360-degree views of downtown and the surrounding area.

The building’s design, which is inspired by downtown’s 19th century cotton gins and warehouses, is the perfect setting for Jekyll Brewing says the developer Cheri Morris, president of Morris & Fellows.  “We designed this building to be the icon of downtown Alpharetta and we had in mind an iconic operator, so Jekyll Brewing is spot on. It will be wonderful to have a handcrafted product being served within a building inspired by previous generations of manufacturers,” she says. “I am so glad we are able to partner with Jekyll Brewing and have yet another local talent and business at City Center.”

“Being located in downtown Alpharetta, in this spectacular space, will allow us to serve our customers so much better,” says Michael Lundmark, Founder and CEO. “As we’ve said since the beginning, we are passionate about the art of creating a great beer, the camaraderie of the craft brewing industry, and the joy of sharing it. Thanks to the prominence and convenience of this location, we’ll be able to do offer that and more.”

Since opening in 2013, Jekyll Brewing has been producing a lineup of award-winning craft beers that cover the global spectrum of brew styles from IPAs to Ales, Lagers, and Kolsch-style. They are known for brews such as Hop Dang Diggity, Southern Juice, and Vibe. The brewery’s original location is on Marconi Drive in Alpharetta.
