EarthLink, provider of internet and other online services, expands its network reach by 19 million households, increasing its U.S. coverage to 53%.

EarthLink now offers broadband internet connectivity – with speeds up to 1G – to more than 67 million U.S. households, representing over half of the country. In addition, EarthLink’s internet services have no data caps, no throttling, and are not required to be included in a bundle.

The company’s high-speed internet, known as HyperLink, is available in the major metro areas of Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, Dallas and Seattle, as well as in 37 states overall.

“It is an exciting day to know that 19 million more families in America have access to our products and services,” said Glenn Goad, CEO. “In addition to our high speed internet product, HyperLink, these consumers can now benefit from our Privacy and Security products. As EarthLink expands its footprint, we continue to focus on how we can protect our customers and the devices they connect to the internet.”
