This Summer, the soccer world turns their eyes to Paris for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, and the US Women’s National Team will be on the center stage. Atlanta United is uniting the city around the beautiful game for another Summer of soccer with the Month of HER. Throughout June, Atlanta United will put the spotlight on our female 17’s and cheer on the U.S. Women’s National Team on their quest to bring home the fourth star.
Immediately following the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup Final on July 7h, FOX will switch over to broadcast Atlanta United’s home match versus the New York Red Bulls. To celebrate, we're throwing an epic World Cup Viewing Party presented by Coca-Cola at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Everyone with a ticket to the match is invited to come early and watch the FIFA Women’s World Cup Final at our stadium in downtown Atlanta. So get rowdy, be proud, and show up early to show the world what soccer in the ATL looks like.
But that’s just the exclamation point on a month-long series of events, viewing parties, exclusive giveaways and more. Atlanta United will be teaming up with the American Outlaws for FIFA Women’s World Cup Viewing Parties at Ri Rá Irish Pub in Midtown, turning it onto the one-stop shop FIFA Women's World Cup HQ. Atlanta United will be on-site on select dates with limited edition giveaways to go along with big screens, great food and even greater company with your fellow 5-Stripes.
ATL UTD 2 is also celebrating the month with their match against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on June 15th. Get out to the Proving Ground early and claim dibs on a commemorative HER themed matchday poster at the gate as part of a night-long celebration of HER.
