Construction Activity Continues for I-85 Widening Project

Construction activity for the I-85 Widening project will require lane closures this week along the corridor in Gwinnett, Barrow, and Jackson counties.
 
Beginning Monday night through Friday night, asphalt paving and bridge operations will necessitate single lane closures along I-85 in both directions between Hamilton Mill Road in Gwinnett County and SR 211 in Barrow County. Work will occur nightly between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday night, and Friday from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Saturday.
 
Tuesday night, asphalt paving operations will necessitate a single lane closure along I-85 northbound from SR 211 in Barrow County to Jesse Cronic Road in Jackson County. Work will occur from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
 
Wednesday night, asphalt paving operations will necessitate a single lane closure along I-85 southbound from Jesse Cronic Road in Jackson County to SR 211 in Barrow County. Camera pole setting operations will also necessitate single lane closures in both directions between SR 53 to SR 60 in Jackson County. Work will occur from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
