Engel & Völkers Atlanta announced the addition of Ken Covers to the firm’s illustrious advisor collective. A 20-year veteran, Covers is a notable asset to the luxury residential brokerage firm, well-known for his uncanny ability to deliver excellent results for buyers and sellers and is in Atlanta’s top one percent with regard to real estate sales volume, garnering over $280 million in career sales. Previously at Engel & Völkers Intown Atlanta, Covers made the move to the Engel & Völkers Atlanta in early September.
Joining Ken at Engel & Völkers Atlanta is Emily Windham, an associate of The Ken Covers Team. Beginning her real estate career in 2014, Windham will leverage her experience to provide support to Ken and foster an expanded presence for Engel & Völkers Atlanta in the luxury Atlanta real estate market.
“Reinforcing our firm with proven examples of industry excellence is our ultimate goal as we expand our brokerage team. The Ken Covers Team is the ideal addition, having achieved great success in the luxury marketplace and is well-regarded among our client pool,” said Christa Huffstickler, founder & CEO of Engel & Völkers Atlanta. “We are thrilled to welcome an advisor as experienced and savvy as Ken and look forward to helping him establish his practice at our thriving firm.”
Designated a top 25 advisor for Engel & Völkers Americas and member of the exclusive Engel & Völkers property advisory, Private Office, Ken has been well-recognized for his prolific accomplishments. Deemed the Morningside specialist by locals and clients alike, Ken currently takes the lead for total closings in all price-points in the neighborhoods Virginia Highlands and Morningside, as well as the highest priced closing in 2019 at $2,175,000 for the quaint 1034 Robin Lane Morningside home.* In 2018 alone, Covers exceeded $28 million in residential sales, and was a recipient of the Engel & Völkers Americas Passion for Community Service award. Additionally, Ken was inducted into Engel & Volkers President’s Circle Elite Club and has been named a Top 100 Agent by the Atlanta Business Chronicle for the last 12 years. Ken is a lifetime member of the Atlanta REALTORS® Association’s Million Dollar Club and is a recipient of the Phoenix award, which recognizes longtime top producers.
“Making the shift to Engel & Völkers Atlanta has equipped my team with the ability to offer clients advanced tools to amplify their listings and market their homes for sale. As the process of buying and selling a home is increasingly simplified, it was important to find a firm that was consistently on the pulse of what’s next in luxury real estate,” said Ken Covers. “I’m excited to merge my cultivated expertise with the tools provided by Engel & Völkers Atlanta to branch out and take my capabilities to a superior level.”
Originally from Illinois, Covers currently resides in Morningside with his partner, Chip, and dog, Dancer. He is an avid advocate of the Alzheimer’s Association of Georgia and has raised over $280,000 for the cause.
