Parker Poe Partner Christian Torgrimson Joins Advisory Board for National Property Rights Conference

Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Christian Torgrimson has joined the advisory board of the Brigham-Kanner Property Rights Conference. She will play a leading role in setting the strategy and planning for the national conference at William & Mary Law School in Williamsburg, Virginia.
 
The Brigham-Kanner Property Rights Conference is a national platform that brings together members of the bench, bar, and academia to explore recent developments in the law that affect property rights. It is presented by the William & Mary Law School Property Rights Project. Christian also participated in a law student-focused program as part of the conference. This program is in its third year and creates a space for lawyers and practitioners to engage with law students interested in pursuing property rights careers.
 
Christian has litigated eminent domain proceedings, private property disputes, and other real estate related matters for approximately 20 years. She helps write the authoritative book on eminent domain laws across the United States, serving as the editor and author of the Georgia chapter in the American Bar Association's national eminent domain compendium. She is a past chair of the Eminent Domain Section of the State Bar of Georgia. She also frequently writes and speaks on condemnation issues for various professional organizations, including the American Law Institute.
