Thomas & Hutton (T&H) is pleased to announce the following new hire in its Columbia office.

Brandon Howe, joined the T&H team Civil Department as a designer. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Georgia Southern University. Prior to T&H he spent one year completing undergraduate research at Georgia Southern University. In his current role he is a civil site designer.

He lives in Irmo, SC and enjoys spending time at Lake Murray or at the local race track.

Thomas & Hutton (T&H) is pleased to announce the following new hire in its Atlanta office.

Ali Badiee, joined Thomas & Hutton’s Transportation Department as a Project Engineer. He has a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is currently finishing his second Master’s degree in Project Management at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. Ali brings over five years of roadway and water/sewer design experience to his new role. Most of his previous roles include GDOT, ALDOT as well as Jefferson, Fulton, Dekalb, and Cobb Counties projects.

Ali has been a professional swimmer for 14 years. He also enjoys tennis and traveling internationally.

Thomas & Hutton (T&H) is pleased to announce the following new hire in its Charleston office.

Colin Hennessy, EIT joined Thomas & Hutton’s Civil Engineering team as Designer. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Prior to T&H, he served for over five years in the military. He later transitioned to the private sector construction industry. In his current role at T&H he develops civil site plans for the team.

Colin lives in Mount Pleasant, SC with his wife, and enjoys scuba diving, hiking and skiing.

Thomas & Hutton (T&H) is pleased to announce the following new hire in its Charleston Office.

Lauren Scherer, joined the Thomas & Hutton Landscape Architecture team as a Landscape Architect. Lauren has a Bachelor’s of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Connecticut.

Prior to joining T&H, she worked for a multidisciplinary firm in Boston and a landscape architecture firm in Charleston. She is a Professional Landscape Architect and has experience in residential, institutional and commercial projects.  

She lives in Charleston, SC with her husband, Matt, and 2 children, Lainey and Sonny. Lauren enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with family and friends, being involved in her church and traveling.
