Go Over The Edge with United Way of Greater Atlanta

Staff Report From Metro Atlanta CEO

Friday, March 13th, 2020

There are plenty of ways to donate your time and fundraise for a good cause, but how many of them involve an absolute adrenaline rush while helping children? Forget runs, galas, golf outings and walks; United Way of Greater Atlanta is going Over The Edge to improve child well-being in Greater Atlanta.

Over The Edge is a unique fundraising event that allows participants an opportunity to raise money for children, families, and the community in Greater Atlanta by rappelling down the historic 100 Edgewood Avenue building in downtown Atlanta on Wednesday, April 29th.

Rappelers will raise money to improve overall child well-being in Greater Atlanta, through the cause of their choice:

Create stronger learners and ensure all 3rd graders are reading proficiently

Ensure our youth are college and career-ready

Help families and individuals become more economically stable
