TrainingPros, a nationwide learning and development (L&D) staffing agency that provides contract consultants for projects in large companies, welcomes Lori Fancher, PhD, as a relationship manager. She will join the metropolitan Atlanta area team and be responsible for supporting existing clients as well as contributing to the company’s overall growth strategy.

In her new role as relationship manager, Fancher will guide talent development consultants, leaders and executives in the selection and placement of expert contract-based staff to realize strategic business results. Her background working with operations and human resources leaders in various industries, including health care, insurance, and transportation, is a good fit for the types of companies she will be advising in the region. Having been a contractor for TrainingPros at one point, as well as a recent client, Lori is well acquainted with the firm.

“Lori’s expertise, and her unique background as a contractor and a client of TrainingPros, provides her with a unique perspective,” said Training Pros President, Leigh Anne Lankford. “She understands how valuable and solution-driven our services are, and will be able to implement them to help clients achieve their objectives. I see this as a promising indicator of her future success.”

Bringing over 15 years of experience as a leader in the enterprise learning and design industry, Fancher has advised clients in achieving strategic imperatives by maximizing capabilities and improving the performance of large companies. She also has a combined 10 years of business research and consulting experience in talent and organization development (OD), HR metrics and strategy, internal capabilities and organizational culture.

“My journey in this new role as relationship manager fits my career path perfectly in the L&D field,” said Lori. “All my prior experience has more than prepared me for the challenge and I’m thrilled to have the support of the entire TrainingPros family.”

Most recently Fancher worked at Delta Dental Insurance Co., where she was responsible for shared services learning and development for U.S. operations. Previously, she owned her own consulting practice and worked with clients such as UPS, Intel, AT&T and Emory Hospital. She also served as an assistant professor at Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business teaching OD and change as well as leadership communication. Fancher earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree, and holds a doctorate, in human resource development from Georgia State University.

Fancher is a member of the Association for Talent Development, is certified in CCI DISC and Uniquely You from the Christian Coaching Institute (formally Novo Coaching) and is a Hogan Leadership Coach by Hogan Assessment Systems.
