Sterling Seacrest Partners Names Mike Shrubb as Client Advisor

Mike Shrubb has been named a Client Advisor for Sterling Seacrest Partners, a top insurance brokerage and consulting firm. With more than 10 years experience, Shrubb offers his expertise to professional and financial service organizations and technology companies. He specializes in professional and management liability coverages, including Directors & Officers (D&O), Errors & Omissions (E&O) and Cyber Liability. He will be based in the firm’s Atlanta office. 

Shrubb received his Certified Information Privacy Professional credential from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). The additional education and designation allows him to better advise on a client’s cyber exposure and recommend best practices to minimize risk. 

Shrubb says, “The education around various data privacy regulations -- as well as how to design incident management programs and data minimization efforts -- allows me to advise my clients on a much deeper level.”

Prior to joining Sterling Seacrest Partners, Shrubb founded Resolute Risk, a direct-to-consumer insurance brokerage firm. He began his career as an underwriter at Hiscox and has also worked as an assistant vice president at CRC Insurance Services. 

Shrubb received his B.A. from Dartmouth College. He and his wife, Morgan, live in West Midtown with their dog, Fowler. He is an active supporter of A+ Squash, a program that provides academic tutoring, athletic coaching and mentorship to students in the Atlanta area.
