Elder Care Expert and Attorney Diane Weinberg Launches Law Firm Advocating for Metro Atlanta’s Vulnerable Populations

Diane Weinberg, a renowned Atlanta area elder care attorney, today announces the launch of her new firm, Weinberg Elder Law, LLC. The firm was formed to help families resolve disputes that impact seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Weinberg Elder Law focuses its practice on protecting vulnerable populations, including the elderly and disabled, through legal solutions and the courts when necessary. Practice areas include Guardianships and Conservatorships, Dispute Resolution and Fiduciary Litigation, and Elder Law, and Elder Abuse Protection.

“It's my privilege to serve our most vulnerable and treasured populations and their families,” said Weinberg. “My firm will engage the courts to resolve disputes when someone’s well-being is being threatened, but most importantly, we will look for solutions outside of the courtroom that help families in crisis.”

Weinberg is a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent-rated attorney, has an AVVO rating of 10/10 and is currently recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyer. Distinguished for her expertise, Weinberg is a frequent local and national speaker on a variety of aspects of guardianships, special needs trusts, and Medicaid planning.

Weinberg is the only private practice attorney in Georgia to have earned At Risk Adult Certification Training (ACT) certification offered through the Georgia Department of Human Services, Division of Aging Services. She also serves on an unofficial legislative workgroup of the Georgia Bureau of Investigations.

Before starting her solo practice, Weinberg served as of counsel with Morgan & DiSalvo, P.C., an estate planning firm. Prior to entering the field of Elder Law, Weinberg spent almost a decade in the litigation field. She earned a B.A. at the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the Emory University School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, a Veterans Administration Accredited Attorney, a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, a member of the Academy of Special Needs Planners, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Notably, Weinberg is the State Advocacy Ambassador for the Georgia Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

Weinberg is actively involved in the community and recently ran for the office of Probate Court Judge of Fulton County. She is a member of the Buckhead Business Association and the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber of Commerce.
