Wellspring Living is excited to announce the recent donation of 7,740 pairs of fuzzy slipper socks including World’s Softest from Crescent Sock Company.

“This incredibly generous donation could not have come at a better time!” says Mary Frances Bowley, executive director of Wellspring Living, a local nonprofit that serves survivors of sex trafficking and those at risk. “Each and every year, we strive to make the holiday season special for our participants...youth and women who have faced unimaginable trauma, many of whom have never been able to celebrate Christmas. Fuzzy socks are always a highly requested item and we are thrilled that we will be able to grant that wish for each participant! What may seem like a small gift to some means the world to those we serve!”

The donation was made possible by Crescent Sock Company, one of The Link Companies' vendors. “For many years, The Link Companies has been a fantastic partner of Wellspring Living. Not only have they contributed monetarily and with other in-kind donations, they also make a conscious effort to bring awareness to the horrific realities of sex trafficking through their large network of vendors and like-minded businesses. We are grateful that they have made another wonderful connection to benefit our participants!” says Sarah Richardson, development director at Wellspring Living.

“As a women-owned and woman-run small business, we wanted to donate to organizations throughout the country with a focus on helping women. We love what Wellspring Living stands for everyday!” says Heather Lingerfelt, director of sales for Crescent Sock Company.
