Artisan Built Communities Hires Casey Bruce as Director of Purchasing

Wednesday, June 30th, 2021

Artisan Built Communities is pleased to announce the addition of Casey Bruce as Director of Purchasing. Bruce brings over 20 years of experience in the industry to the Paulding County homebuilder, furthering the company’s plans to grow in 2021 and beyond.

“Casey has already been a tremendous asset to our team as we navigate the volatile market our industry is currently experiencing,” said Stephen Haines, president of Artisan Built Communities. “With rapidly rising prices on materials, labor shortages and other unexpected changes, his expertise has been instrumental in cash flow management.”

In the role of Director of Purchasing, Bruce will manage cost controls for materials and labor used in homebuilding, an integral part of the Artisan Built Communities’ goal of delivering homes affordably. He also will ensure the accuracy of architectural drawings to guarantee clear and correct communication with all parties, from internal builders to vendors all the way to home buyers. Through implementation of a new purchase order software system, he plans to increase the accuracy of cost reporting, another way to improve affordability for homebuyers.

Bruce has 20 years of experience in purchasing. He has worked with numerous home builders, including national builders and local builders in California, Florida and Georgia. A graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology, he also spent five years as an Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army. Most recently, Bruce served as Operations Manager for Liberty Communities in McDonough. He currently resides in the Atlanta area.

Current Artisan Built communities include the award-winning NatureWalk at Seven Hills community and The Georgian, both located in Paulding County. For more information, call 770-231-3919 or visitDiscoverArtisan.com.
