Architect Heather Hubble, principal of Atlanta-based TSW, has been named to the Advisory Board of ULI Atlanta. Advisors serve a three-year term for ULI (Urban Land Institute), helping build a strong presence for the national organization through the local chapter, known as a District Council. Members of the Council are leading real estate and land use professionals who volunteer their time to research, educate and positively impact the built environment.
Hubble is a graduate of the ULI Center for Leadership and current co-chair of ULI Atlanta’s UrbanPlan Committee. UrbanPlan is a realistic, engaging exercise in which high school and college students, community leaders or public officials learn the fundamental forces that affect real estate development in our communities. She also regularly volunteers in local high schools and colleges, as well as with communities, to increase public exposure to the development process and to educate participants about career opportunities within the architecture and planning industries.
Hubble completed a Scandinavian Architecture and Design Program at the University of Copenhagen, and earned a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the University of Tennessee, prior to joining Atlanta-based TSW in 2004. In addition to designing countless commercial and residential buildings, Hubble manages project teams, as she works to create buildings that enhance their surrounding environment and complement the urban fabric. She is a Registered Architect and LEED AP. She is a member of the Congress for the New Urbanism, American Institute of Architects, Construction Specification Institute and U.S. Green Building Council. Hubble lives in Atlanta with her husband and two children.
