Corporate Environments Partners with Accent Décor on New Office

Tuesday, November 30th, 2021

Corporate Environments recently collaborated with Accent Decor on its new space designed by Gensler and located in Row Eastside Chamblee. Created by blending existing and new furnishings while incorporating natural light and nature, the overall aesthetic is a mix of industrial and warmth with an Art Deco feel.

Accent Décor is an online retailer providing beautiful ceramics and glassware for the event and floral industries, on-trend home décor accents and exceptional customer service. It was important to reflect and showcase these products in the office space.

The goal for the new office, which houses more than 65 employees in 250,000 square feet, was to create a more open space in line with the high design-brand aesthetic of Accent Décor. Flexible spaces provide opportunities for staff to work together and collaborate, meet with clients and break out into a number of work postures.

“The client had a high design aesthetic and a very limited budget,” Meredith Roman, senior project designer at Corporate Environments, said. “We helped them create ‘the look for less’ without sacrificing quality.

“The layout features more ‘client facing’ spaces to meet, collaborate and design together, and it is conveniently located to amenities like public transit and restaurants in the up-and-coming Chamblee area.”

Global architecture, design and planning firm Gensler designed the interiors and provided furniture inspiration while Accent Décor and Corporate Environments worked together to choose the actual furniture. A number of high-end brands were used including Knoll Rockwell Tables, Dividends workstations, Generation task chairs, Antenna private offices, OFS Rowen lounges and National/ETC Milam chairs. Multiple conference rooms, flexible meeting spaces, collaborative and break-out areas, a design studio, photography studio, executive offices and break room were all furnished to create inviting spaces for both collaborative and individual work.

Corporate Environments helps clients develop spaces that are efficient, inviting and safe, and is currently focused on providing businesses with functional and agile solutions in response to pandemic-related needs. The team is working with a diverse group of manufacturers to create spaces that provide healthy environments and improve the customer experience.
