The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation answered the call this year for nearly 1,000 families.  Hosea Helps was in need of additional turkey dinners for families and Steve Harvey received the call and immediately provided the assistance needed to fill the gap.  “Organizations like The Steve and Marjorie Harvey foundation keep us going. It takes organizations with a heart to hear the need and answer the call.  We thank Steve and Marjorie for ensuring that nearly 1,000 families will celebrate with a FULL Thanksgiving dinner this year.” stated Mrs. Elisabeth Omilami, the CEO of Hosea Helps. This is the first time in history that Hosea Helps will receive in-kind donations and distribute food boxes and supplies, simultaneously. Families must pre-register on the website at www.4hosea.org.

Hosea Helps, Inc. announced this year’s holiday events would be another historic first for the organization battling against the Covid-19 pandemic. Hosea Helps will hold the annual Thanksgiving food distributions one week before the holiday, to better provide for families in need. This pivot allows the organization to distribute all of the fixings for a delicious holiday meal just in time for families to prepare and serve on the actual holiday. 

Additional sponsors for the 2021 Holiday Festival of Services include Kroger Foodstores/Honeysuckle White donating 500 turkeys, Publix Supermarkets donating 500 turkeys and Simon Guobadia donating 700 turkeys.  Chef Veek of Eat Urban Fresh Atlanta is donating 500 turkey sandwiches for the homeless. Chris Tucker also made a financial contribution to support this great cause.
