Branch Properties Announces New Tenants at Peachtree Battle Shopping Center

Friday, January 28th, 2022

Atlanta-based real estate investment and development firm Branch Properties today announces several new tenants joining Peachtree Battle Shopping Center in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta. Roshambo, a new concept from local restaurant group Unsukay, will open at the center this year along with a new location for fast-casual restaurant chain Cava.

Peachtree Battle Shopping Center is a 168,000-square-foot, grocery-anchored center in the heart of Buckhead, located directly off of Peachtree Road. The development holds over 50 tenants, including a 32,836-square-foot Publix, Walgreens, Ace Hardware and Baskin-Robbins. The shopping center has long been a staple in the community, serving nearby neighborhoods as a one-stop destination for dining, shopping and essential services.

“Peachtree Battle is a fixture in the Buckhead community, and it’s important to provide the surrounding residents and daytime workers with a fresh and dynamic tenant mix,” said Branch Partner Terry Hampel. “Due to its prime location, space at Peachtree Battle doesn’t stay vacant for long, and we’re always looking for opportunities to bring the best selection of businesses to the center. We know the community is craving exciting and convenient dining experiences, and this latest group of tenants successfully answers this demand.”

Unsukay, the group behind local favorites Local Three Kitchen & Bar, Muss & Turners and Eleanor’s, will open its newest concept at Peachtree Battle in a 3,998-square-foot space. The restaurant, called Roshambo, is a modern, upscale diner serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with full bar service. The theme of the restaurant centers around roshambo, – widely known as the game “rock, paper, scissors,” which represents each meal of the day. The restaurant is set to open this summer.

Also opening at Peachtree Battle is Cava, a Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant chain that will occupy a 2,300-square-foot space at the center. The restaurant focuses on build-your-own bowls and salads, offering a fresh mix of ingredients including hummus, tzatziki, falafel, lentils and vegetables. Cava Group acquired Zoe’s Kitchen in 2018 and has transformed several Zoe’s restaurants across the metro Atlanta area into new Cava locations. The restaurant will open its doors to the public on Saturday, January 29th.

Recently, Branch announced several big restaurant tenants coming to Hugh Howell Marketplace, an 89,510-square-foot Publix Super Markets-anchored shopping center in Tucker, Georgia, including Antico Sporto and First Watch. Branch is currently developing five other Publix-anchored shopping centers across the Southeast, including Perimeter Marketplace in Dunwoody, Ga.; Merganser Commons at Dogwood Estates in Milton, Fla.; Moncks Corner Marketplace in Moncks Corner, S.C.; The Market at Hays Farm in Huntsville, Ala.; and Summerhill Station in Southwest Atlanta, Ga.
