United Community Bank Welcomes Jennine Hunter as CRA Mortgage Loan Officer

United Community Bank is pleased to announce the addition of experienced mortgage professional Jennine Hunter as a CRA Mortgage Loan Officer in the Atlanta metro area. In this role, Hunter will focus on providing mortgage loans that assist low- and moderate-income communities and borrowers around the Atlanta area in support of the community development efforts of United Community Bank. 

“Jennine brings a wealth of knowledge about both the Atlanta market and mortgage lending to our team,” said Jason Hultgren, Director of Retail Mortgage Sales. “In addition to her professional success, Jennine also has an extensive history of giving back to her community, which aligns perfectly with the kind of culture we live by at United. Her efforts across Atlanta to support low-to-moderate income borrowers will be critically important to supporting the path to homeownership in this region.”

Hunter has over 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Most recently, she served as a Mortgage Loan Officer at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation and a Senior Loan Officer at WE Lending. She also spent time with JPMorgan Chase, Citizens Trust Bank, and the FHA Resource Center.

“I’m excited to be part of the United team and to work with all borrowers—from first-time homebuyers to those who are seeking their final residence,” Hunter said. “The team at United is a proven leader when it comes to customer service, and I will work hard to continue providing that standard of excellence.”

Outside of work, Hunter is passionate about working with youth. For over 25 years, she served as a Lead Facilitator for the Center of Leadership Development, where she taught life skills training through their self-discovery/career exploration program. Hunter is also an active member of the National Black MBA Association, Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc., the DeKalb County Women’s Council of Realtors, and the Empire Board of Realtists, where she serves on the Programs and Events Committee.
