Emily Giovinazzo Joins Hedgepeth Heredia Family Law in Of Counsel Role

Emily Giovinazzo has joined family law firm Hedgepeth Heredia in an Of Counsel role. She joins the metro Atlanta firm, continuing her focus on family law.
 
Giovinazzo was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2021. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association and a trained Guardian ad Litem and Parent Coordinator. Giovinazzo practiced employment law at an international law firm before moving to family law.
 
“Emily appreciates the personal nature of family law cases and as a trained co-parent coordinator, she understands the importance of counseling her clients in cooperative parenting after a divorce,” says Hedgepeth Heredia Managing Partner Hannibal Heredia.
 
Originally from California, Giovinazzo graduated with honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and received her law degree from Emory University Law School. While at Emory, she volunteered with Emory Student Legal Services and the Emory Public Interest Committee where she developed her interest in assisting individuals with legal issues of a personal nature.
 
Giovinazzo is a volunteer Guardian ad Litem for the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.  She values the ability to use her legal knowledge while giving back to her local community.
 
She lives in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta with her husband Chris and their three children.
