Poline Associates, the leading executive recruiter in the shopping center industry recruiter, has been renamed to Poline Search Partners as it expands its team and offers its recruiting and advisory services beyond retail to other sectors within the commercial real estate industry. Real estate industry veterans Cary Beale and Sabrina Nunez join the Poline Search Partners team to continue the firm’s long-standing tradition of high-level customer service.   

  Since its founding more than 40 years ago by Rich Poline, the firm has been the shopping center industry’s leading resource for executive search and personnel advisory services from management positions through C-Suite. Now into its second generation and led by David Poline, the company is parlaying its expertise and knowledge into other commercial real estate sectors including mixed-use, multifamily, office, industrial and self-storage. “We’ve seen a void in the commercial real estate marketplace for trusted, experienced recruiters who understand the specialized nature of this industry,” says David Poline, president and CEO, Poline Search Partners.

In recent years, the lines between retail and other sectors have blurred. “Our four decades of experience in the shopping center industry allows us to seamlessly transition into recruiting within other commercial real estate sectors and we are excited to bring our same dedication and knowledge — not to mention the database we’ve built of over 10,000 qualified cross-sector industry professionals — to a larger segment of the industry.” The firm places professionals in the disciplines of leasing, property and asset management; development; construction; architecture and design; marketing; legal; and accounting and finance.

The recruiting industry has changed over the past 10 years and even more so within the last 24 months due to Covid-19. The new name better reflects the company’s services and the expansion of both the team and sector reach. “We are trusted recruiters and strategic advisors who take a personalized approach with every search, and I felt like our name needs to reflect that—especially as we move beyond just retail where people may not be familiar with the Poline Associates name,” he explains.

    Industry veteran, Cary Beale, joins the company as an executive recruiter. He is responsible for identifying qualified professionals, managing client relations, drafting job descriptions, sourcing well-suited candidates, facilitating the interview process, checking references, expediting offer negotiations and candidate on-boarding. Prior to joining Poline, Beale was senior vice president at Franklin Street, where he hired over 35 brokers and salespeople during his tenure. Beale also spent a decade as vice president of leasing for the Atlanta office of DDR Corp. (now SITE Centers).

Sabrina Nunez comes full circle to rejoin the team as executive assistant. She is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the firm and maintaining its candidate database. Prior to serving as executive assistant to the president of Southern Restaurant Hospitality Group, LLC, Nunez was Rich Poline’s administrative assistant from 1997 through 2009.
