Compass Real Estate, the modern real estate platform committed to using technology to bring success to its clients and agents, will show its support for the Make-A-Wish® Foundation on Saturday, May 7. More than 60 agents, staff and Compass guests are slated to participate in the annual Walk For Wishes that raises funds to fulfill the wishes of children with critical illnesses. The Compass Cares chapter of Greater Atlanta has raised more than $6,000 for this year’s Walk For Wishes.

“Our agents display an extraordinary level of commitment to giving back to the community,” said Sarah Duckett, Sales Manager and Compass Cares Employee Champion. “Compass of Greater Atlanta is proud to support organizations like the Make-A-Wish® Foundation, whose purpose gives hope to families across Atlanta and the country.”

Compass Cares is a national program founded by Compass that empowers agents and employees alike to support meaningful causes at home. Each region of Compass has a Compass Cares chapter, led by a Compass Cares Champion and supported by a team of agent champions. The Greater Atlanta chapter of Compass Cares allows agents to have a meaningful impact on their community and contribute to organizations that make a difference in the lives of fellow community members.

Most recently, the Greater Atlanta chapter of Compass Cares has supported the American Brain Tumor Association and the Glioblastoma Foundation with a $10,000 donation in honor of Michael Gaddy, a Compass agent who died from brain cancer in late 2021. Later this year, the chapter will celebrate Compass Cares Week, a week of volunteer opportunities, as well as a build for Habitat for Humanity.
