Cushman & Wakefield announced the commercial real estate services firm has arranged a new 1,003,954-million-square-foot lease for an undisclosed transport and logistics company at Gardner Logistics Park, a three-phase industrial development project in Locust Grove, Georgia.

Cushman & Wakefield’s James Phillpott, Helen Cauthen, Lisa Pittman, and Ray Stache represented the landlord, Scannell Properties, in the lease negotiations. The Cushman & Wakefield team has been overseeing leasing efforts for all three phases of the park’s development.

“Gardner Logistics Park offers a strategic location, amenities, and nearby workforce that has attracted a variety of Class A tenants,” said Phillpott, Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield. “Further, Locust Grove gives tenants unmatched access to the Savannah port, the Atlanta metro, and Florida.”

The transport and logistics company will occupy most of Building 1 within Gardner Logistics Park and Scannell Properties will have 435,008 square feet of space remaining available. Building 1 is the final building under construction at Gardner Logistics Park and marks phase three of the development project. The 1,438,962-square-foot building will deliver in late 2023 and be located at 381 Davis Lake Rd.

“Gardner Logistics Park will consist of six Class A buildings totaling approximately 4 million square feet when complete. The industrial park has already attracted a top-tier tenant base of companies in the home improvement, logistics and transportation, e-commerce, and retail industries,” said Daniel Madrigal, Director of Development at Scannell Properties.
