Sloomoo Institute - an experiential destination that taps into the joy of multi-sensory play through hand-crafted, artisanal slime and #satisfying experiences - announces a new addition to the Atlanta location’s leadership team – naming Penda Meftah as General Manager and Director of Operations.

Reflecting her extensive international background, Meftah speaks several languages, including French, English, Spanish, Arabic and Wolof. She is originally from Dakar, Senegal, in West Africa, spent time in France and has since been in the United States for over 10 years now. She brings to the Buckhead location over 15 years of experience in the service industry, contributing vast expertise in business development, marketing, human resources and project management. Meftah will spearhead the supervision of the Sloomoo Atlanta team’s day-to-day operations, execute local partnership programs and curate an authentic culture that attracts and welcomes both employees and visitors.

As a supportive leader with deep roots in Atlanta, Meftah most recently served as Senior Sales Executive and Partner Manager for LS Retail. Previously, Penda left a lasting impression serving more than a decade in several roles for Merlin Entertainments including Site Director for Sea Life in Paris; Cluster Site Director for Legoland Discovery Center and Sea Life in Charlotte; and finally, General Manager of Legoland Discovery Center in Atlanta.

Sloomoo Institute Atlanta is slated to open in November 2022 at 3637 Peachtree Road in the lower level of the Buckhead Triangle shopping center.
